Ali Hussain was born in Aleppo - Syria 1956.

Ali Hussein paints in a style of what is called “magical realism” and even brutal realism as well, in the sense that there is a lot of poetic clarity in the details, or focus and reliance on pure color to carry the message of the painting. Ali Hussein's paintings are often described as festive; using violets, greens, Blue vineyard and reds.
